Have you ever had a piece of jewelry that encompassed a mood, a time, a feeling? As you put it on, it speaks to you, soothes you, makes you feel regal? Well, you probably need to scurry on over and check out Lunaversoul's website asap. No really, go there now! Then come back and you can finish reading. Go ahead, I'll wait... I assure you, all of those aforementioned feelings will wash over you and you will probably 'ooh and ahh' at nearly every piece.
From her elegantly designed website, to her gallery of jewelry pieces, you will love her eye for design and style.
I had the pleasure of interviewing the owner, Camisha Jackson, where she gave insight into her own business experience & savvy. Check out todays webisode of Chicktrepreneur of the week and see what she's giving away to one lucky winner.
In the meantime, you can find her complete interview down below:
What year did you begin your business?
I started my business Lunaversoul on September 3rd 2007, which is also my birthday : )
What inspired you to go into business for yourself?
I taught myself how to make my own jewelry because I could never find the kind of jewelry that fit my style & personality. The fact that someone actually stopped me in the store to admire my jewelry & then bought the bracelet right off my wrist was what inspired me to go into business for myself. I figured if one person loved my work so much to want to buy it off me, I could make jewelry that people from all walks of life would love. What is one positive and one negative of owning your own business?
Having full creative control over my ideas on the downside at times it can get very stressful wearing many hats. I'm my own creative team, advertisement team/PR, and at times my own photographer. Multitasking is a must as your own boss/employee.

If you could give a piece of advice to a young aspiring female entrepreneur, what would that be?
Visualize your dream and make it into reality, every set goal can be achieved through dedication and hard work!
