So for those not aware, Black Enterprise will be holding its annual entrepreneurs conference and expo this May 22-25th in Atlanta, Ga. and I have every intention of being in attendance and soaking up all of the knowledge in the vicinity that I can wrap my already overly capacitated brain around.
There will be a plethora of vendors, services and speakers. Amongst the festivities BE will be hosting an Elevator Pitch contest. In a nutshell, you will have 2 minutes to cram the most pertinent selling information about your business into a compact & cohesive spiel that is then regurgitated to a crowd of possibly hundreds of onlookers. Fun, right?
Well, of course I decided to enter! Not just for the notoriety experience BUT because I hate speaking in front of large groups and it's a way for me to officially nix that fear. Below, you will find my entry for the contest. Have a gander and let me know what you think. If you plan on attending the event then I highly recommend that you enter. It's a great way to finally compile your elevator pitch and have a chance at winning the $10,000 prize money.
